The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in residential or commercial spaces, ensuring that all areas are sanitized and well-presented. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Manage laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels. Conduct floor care tasks such as sweeping, waxing, and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any guest requests or concerns promptly and professionally. Assist with carpet cleaning and maintenance as needed to ensure all carpets are in top condition. Support housekeeping management by following established procedures and protocols for cleaning tasks. Ensure that all cleaning supplies are stocked and report any shortages to management. Adhere to safety guidelines while using cleaning chemicals and equipment. Experience Previous experience in commercial or residential cleaning is preferred but not required. Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is a plus. Experience in the hospitality industry (hotel housekeeping) is beneficial. Skills in cooking or meal preparation can be an asset for roles requiring additional responsibilities.
