Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Facility Cleaning professional to maintain the cleanliness and safety of our commercial or industrial spaces. Responsibilities Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across various areas of the facility Conduct specialized cleaning tasks such as floor buffing, carpet cleaning, and surface sanitation Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, offices, and production areas according to established standards Operate cleaning equipment and tools safely and effectively Assist with minor maintenance tasks such as light repairs or reporting larger issues to maintenance staff Follow safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment during all cleaning activities Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored Adhere to facility-specific procedures for hazardous materials handling and disposal Qualifications Proven experience in janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning roles preferred Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, and sealing floors Experience with industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is a plus Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as buffers, extractors, or pressure washers is desirable Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following safety guidelines Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential for scheduled shifts This position is vital in ensuring our facilities remain safe, clean, and inviting for employees and visitors alike.
