Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeping Cleaner to join our team and ensure that our motel guest rooms are spotless, comfortable, and inviting. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining standards of cleanliness and sanitation in motel guest rooms and on property. Attention to detail, strong work ethic, and customer-service is important. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and surface cleaning to uphold cleanliness standards and replenishing any supplies in the room. Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure hygienic environments Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens as needed. Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents safely and effectively for different surfaces and materials Maintain floor care by performing tasks like carpet cleaning, sweeping, and mopping the floor when needed. Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or appliances with proper techniques to prevent injury Communicate with staff any supply shortages, maintenance or problems in a room and any communication between guests and staff that require awareness. Requirements Proven experience in hospitality, residential, and or commercial cleaning Familiarity with cleaning surfaces, floor care, carpet cleaning, and outdoor work experience is advantageous Changing linens and bedding as needed. Replenish normal guest room supplies. Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and efficiently Strong time management skills to complete assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes Knowledge of cleaning detergents, sanitation standards, and proper handling of cleaning supplies Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks regularly Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members Prior experience in housekeeping is a plus Bilingual in Spanish is helpful Strong dedication will make a real difference every day.
