Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, bed making, and bathroom sanitation using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents. Handle chemical agents safely by following safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines and proper chemical handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms through regular floor cleaning and custodial tasks. Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of furniture, linens, and cleaning supplies to ensure efficient room turnover and maintenance. Use industrial cleaning equipment effectively to ensure floors are spotless and well-maintained, including floor care techniques. Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently to ensure guest safety during incidents or evacuations. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest requests promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience during their stay. Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience with a strong background in hotel housekeeping or industrial cleaning. Knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and hotel housekeeping management practices. Ability to handle chemical agents safely while adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) protocols. Experience with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and floor scrubbers is preferred. Strong manual handling skills with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members.
