Resort Housekeeper $17 per hour Overview Resort Housekeepers are responsible for regularly cleaning resort facilities, buildings and rental properties to ensure the resort remains presentable and sanitary at all times. Job Duties + Cleans, sanitizes, and stocks areas with products as needed. Ensures all tables and chairs are clean and functioning properly (Essential) + Cleans and sanitizes appliances to ensure they are free of food particles, mold and mildew. Defrosts freezer as needed (Essential) + Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms, ensuring they are well lit, and places rubber mats down to ensure safety (Essential) + Follows all established safety procedures and precautions. Reports all unsafe or hazardous conditions, incidents, accidents, and/or defective equipment to their manager (Essential) + Ensures that the overall appearance of the resort, buildings and facilities are well maintained and orderly + Ensures all floors are swept, vacuumed, mopped, waxed, and buffed as needed + Ensures that all windows and screens are clean and functioning properly + Maintains washers and dryers by wiping surfaces, removing lint, etc. + Ensures all offices and buildings are clean and neat. Empties trash containers as needed + Ensures all vents and filters are cleaned and changed as needed + Other duties as assigned Requirements + High School Diploma or GED (Required) + 6 months in previous experience cleaning homes or other large facilities (Preferred) + Demonstrated knowledge of general janitorial work + Knowledge of safety measures when using various cleaning chemicals + Abilities to lift at least 25 pounds + Basic computer proficiency including the ability to use email and internet + Must have a valid driver's license
