Duties Perform floor cleaning and floor care using appropriate equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and mops to keep all areas spotless and well-maintained Handle cleaning tasks across guest rooms, hallways, public spaces, and back-of-house areas with precision and efficiency Manage chemical agent handling safely by following safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines and proper storage procedures Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling of supplies, furniture, or equipment to support housekeeping operations Maintain sanitation standards by cleaning bathrooms, lobbies, corridors, and other high-traffic areas regularly Operate cleaning equipment effectively while adhering to hotel housekeeping management protocols Support hotel emergency procedures by responding promptly and appropriately during safety incidents or evacuations Ensure all custodial activities comply with health regulations and safety standards to promote a safe environment for staff and guests Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in a hospitality or hotel setting is highly desirable Demonstrated knowledge of hotel housekeeping management practices and sanitation procedures Experience with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and chemical sprayers Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety data sheets (SDS) for chemical handling Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Previous hospitality or hotel experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate Join us in creating a welcoming atmosphere where cleanliness meets excellence!
