Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Housekeeper, where your dedication to cleanliness and customer satisfaction will shine! Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, bed making, bathroom sanitation, and replenishing amenities to uphold high standards of cleanliness. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces regularly. Handle cleaning equipment and chemical agents safely in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel protocols to ensure a secure environment for yourself and colleagues. Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to linen carts, cleaning supplies, and furniture moving while adhering to manual handling safety procedures. Follow hotel housekeeping management procedures for sanitation, safety, and emergency protocols to guarantee guest safety at all times. Respond promptly to guest requests for additional amenities or special cleaning needs with a friendly and professional attitude. Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately. Requirements Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services is highly preferred; familiarity with industrial cleaning and custodial practices is a plus. Knowledge of floor care techniques including chemical handling for various surfaces such as carpets, tiles, and hardwood floors. Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, steam cleaners, and other janitorial tools efficiently. Strong understanding of sanitation standards and hotel emergency procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude toward guest interactions. Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling tasks, standing for extended periods, and performing repetitive cleaning duties. Ability to read safety data sheets (SDS) and handle chemical agents responsibly in compliance with health regulations. Previous hotel housekeeping experience or hospitality background is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
