In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and comfort throughout the hotel premises. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment Handle various cleaning agents and chemicals safely in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel protocols Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, dust surfaces, and ensure all areas are sanitized to meet sanitation standards Manage heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or linens with proper manual handling techniques to prevent injury Maintain cleanliness of cleaning equipment and ensure all tools are in good working condition for optimal performance Follow hotel emergency procedures and safety guidelines to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest requests promptly and professionally, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction Requirements Proven experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial work, or janitorial services within a hospitality setting Knowledge of floor care techniques including cleaning, polishing, and maintenance of various flooring types Ability to handle chemical agents responsibly while adhering to safety protocols and SDS guidelines Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy objects safely during cleaning tasks Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude towards guests and team members Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, mops, and other janitorial tools Understanding of hotel housekeeping management practices and hotel emergency procedures is preferred Join us in delivering exceptional hospitality through meticulous cleanliness and outstanding service.
