Job Description

Position Summary The House Attendant is responsible for ensuring housekeepers have all tools, linens and equipment necessary to do their jobs. This position is also responsible for cleaning and care of all public spaces, including bathrooms, pool/cabana area and convention center.   • Commitment Key Responsibilities Clean and maintain public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, stairwells, and outdoor entry areas Transport and restock linen: deliver clean linens from laundry to floor closets, collect soiled linens for laundering, and refill par stock on each floor Deliver guest-requested items like rollaway beds, cribs, extra pillows, blankets, and amenities Assist room attendants with heavy tasks during peak periods, including bed stripping, mattress rotation, and moving oversized items Clean and maintain service areas including poolside, meeting rooms, and back-of-house spaces Remove trash and soiled linen from guest rooms and public areas, and dispose of it according to hotel procedures Inspect assigned areas at the start and end of shifts to ensure cleanliness and compliance with standards Maintain equipment such as vacuums, mops, and cleaning tools in good working order Respond to guest requests promptly and maintain a safe environment by checking locks and securing rooms
