HMG is an up-and-coming hotel management company that has already made its mark with developing and leading award-winning hotels. The hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Hotel Management Group. The franchise controls all aspects for the hotels employment policies and practices. Job Description As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and responding to guest requests in a positive and efficient manner. It is our goal to provide our guests with consistent clean, comfortable, and pleasant facilities when they travel to our hotels.
- Consistently deliver the highest level of service with an emphasis on professionalism and making memorable moments for our guests.
- Learn the company and brand standards, city, county, and state guidelines and follow them.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming which includes the proper uniform and name tag.
- Clean assigned guest rooms, including but not limited to, removing trash and soiled linens, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, making beds, vacuuming, and mopping.
- Clean and stock housekeeping cart throughout the day.
- Replenish room amenities.
- Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
- Be proactive in finding maintenance repairs and communicating them prior to guest arrival.
- Communicate room damage or abuse to the management team for further evaluation.
- Complete weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual deep cleaning projects.
- Be open to cross training in other areas of the hotel such as housemen and laundry.
- Ensure all daily assignments are completed and get signed off by end of day. We work as a team! Qualifications
- Be able to communicate both verbally and written.
- Must have a flexible schedule to meet hotel demand. This includes weekends and holidays. We try to make it fair to all associates by alternating weekends and holidays so that everyone enjoys time with their family.
- Must be able to stand on your feet for 8 hours a day and lift, pull, push, and move a minimum of 50 pounds. Reach to high areas and bend down to look under furniture.
