Responsibilities Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain high standards of cleanliness across all areas. Operate various cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, waxers, and carpet cleaners to ensure optimal floor care. Handle and apply floor cleaning chemicals safely, following all safety protocols and manufacturer instructions. Conduct floor scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and refinishing to restore surfaces and prolong their lifespan. Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture, equipment, or supplies while adhering to proper ergonomic practices. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, hallways, and common areas by performing detailed custodial tasks regularly. Support environmental services initiatives by ensuring eco-friendly cleaning practices are followed consistently. Skills Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services with a focus on floor maintenance. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and refinishing. Ability to handle cleaning chemicals responsibly and safely using appropriate protective equipment. Skilled in operating commercial cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, carpet cleaners, and polishers. Physical stamina for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks required during routine cleaning operations. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly approach when interacting with staff or visitors.
