We are looking for a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Housekeeping & Kitchen Steward who takes pride in maintaining a spotless and welcoming environment. This role is essential in ensuring our estate remains guest-ready throughout the day. Position Overview The Housekeeping & Kitchen Steward is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of all common areas, the kitchen, dining room, and guest-facing spaces. This role works closely with the House Managers, Concierge Team, and Culinary Team to ensure the estate consistently meets The Jenesis House luxury hospitality standards. Core Responsibilities Kitchen & Dining Room Wash, sanitize, dry, and properly store all dishes, cookware, glassware, silverware, and serving utensils. Keep the kitchen clean, sanitized, and organized throughout the day. Wipe down countertops, cabinets, sinks, appliances, and food preparation areas. Sweep and mop kitchen floors as needed. Empty trash and recycling and replace liners. Organize pantry, refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas. Ensure kitchen supplies are stocked and neatly arranged. Assist with resetting the kitchen after each meal service. Maintain a clean and welcoming dining room before, during, and after guest meals. Clean and reset dining tables, chairs, and serving stations. Polish glassware and silverware when needed. Common Areas Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of: Main Lobby Living Room Tea House Meditation Room Yoga Room Hallways Guest Restrooms Outdoor Seating Areas Entryways Laundry Areas Responsibilities include: Dusting Vacuuming Sweeping Mopping Cleaning windows and mirrors Sanitizing high-touch surfaces Emptying trash Restocking supplies Maintaining a clutter-free environment Guest Hospitality Support Ensure all guest-facing areas remain clean and guest-ready throughout the day. Assist with retreat setup and breakdown. Prepare meeting spaces before guest arrival. Refresh common spaces between guest activities. Report maintenance concerns immediately. Assist House Managers with special cleaning requests. Organization Keep all storage rooms organized. Label and rotate supplies. Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies. Maintain organized linen storage. Ensure laundry areas remain clean and functional. Help organize deliveries and put away supplies. Laundry Support Wash, dry, fold, and organize linens and towels. Restock housekeeping closets. Ensure guest linens meet luxury presentation standards. Assist with laundry during high occupancy periods. Daily Expectations Walk the property multiple times throughout each shift. Maintain luxury-level cleanliness at all times. Complete daily cleaning checklist. Communicate any issues immediately to management. Work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Support the team wherever needed.

Lift up to 40 pounds. Bend, kneel, and reach frequently. Work indoors and outdoors. Push housekeeping carts and move supplies as needed.

Pay:

$18.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
