Handle cleaning tasks using appropriate equipment and chemical agents while adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines. Manage manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of linens, furniture, and cleaning supplies safely and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of common areas and corridors as assigned, ensuring compliance with hotel housekeeping standards. Restock amenities, replace linens, towels, and toiletries to meet guest expectations. Follow hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols during all cleaning activities. Utilize janitorial equipment effectively for industrial cleaning tasks, including vacuum cleaners and floor care machinery. Ensure proper chemical handling procedures are followed to maintain safety for self and guests. Support custodial responsibilities by maintaining sanitation standards throughout the property. Collaborate with housekeeping management to report maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly. Qualifications Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly desirable. Knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, chemical agents handling, and sanitation practices. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and other janitorial tools. Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and manual handling with safety awareness. Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude towards guest interactions. Understanding of hotel emergency procedures and safety data sheets (SDS) related to chemical products. Experience in industrial or commercial cleaning environments is advantageous.
