Responsibilities Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all designated areas. Maintain floors through buffing, polishing, and applying appropriate care products to ensure a pristine appearance. Conduct custodial tasks such as restroom sanitation, window cleaning, and surface disinfecting to promote hygiene and safety. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks like minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and equipment upkeep to support overall building operations. Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly to ensure a safe environment for all. Use industrial cleaning equipment efficiently for tasks such as carpet extraction or floor care in high-traffic areas. Support porter duties by moving supplies, furniture, or equipment as needed throughout the facility. Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques and safety standards. Knowledge of floor care methods including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to maintain various flooring types. Experience with commercial or industrial cleaning environments is highly desirable. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and bending or kneeling regularly. Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks like minor repairs or painting is a plus. Strong attention to detail coupled with excellent time management skills to complete daily duties efficiently.
