The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, including commercial and residential spaces. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Duties Perform cleaning tasks in assigned areas, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized and free of debris. Conduct floor care activities, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming. Manage janitorial duties such as emptying trash bins, restocking supplies, and cleaning restrooms. Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs to management. Provide porter services by maintaining cleanliness in common areas and assisting with event setups when required. Occasionally engage in residential painting tasks to enhance the aesthetic appeal of spaces. Skills Proven experience in cleaning roles such as janitorial or custodial work is preferred. Familiarity with commercial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus. Knowledge of floor care practices, including buffing and polishing techniques. Experience in facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions effectively. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. Good communication skills to interact with team members and clients professionally.
