Job Description:
The Environmental Services position maintains a clean, sanitary, and organized environment. They ensure facilities are well-stocked, organized, and sanitary. When not cleaning, the employee will be assisting with the daily residential assistant duties.
Essential Functions:
Maintain all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products; ensure safe and sanitary storage and care of products Perform general sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping of floors In charge treatments such as stain-removal as needed Dispose of trash from bins and containers Dust and polish furniture and room accessories as needed Scrub sinks and toilets in bathrooms Clean windows, mirrors, and counters as needed Keeps all public spaces neat and tidy Sanitize all doorknobs, counters, and hard surfaces Report repairs and replacements needed when encountered Keeps inventory of needed supplies Completes all facility laundry Conduct and document safety checks Other duties as assigned

Work Environment:
Office and healthcare setting with clients and other employees present. Working indoors primarily and outdoors occasionally May walk on slippery and uneven walking surfaces Excessive continuous noise at times Typical office and outside atmosphere Indoor and outdoor, using some cleaning supplies and tools
Physical Demands:
Physically able to push up to 30 lbs Ability to lift up to 30 pounds Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine, with the ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to go up and down stairs multiple times per day
