Responsibilities Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation of all areas within residential and commercial properties. Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to ensure hygiene standards are met or exceeded. Manage laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing as required by clients. Handle manual tasks including heavy lifting of furniture or equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to proper manual handling techniques. Maintain the cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care methods to preserve their appearance and safety. Use janitorial supplies and cleaning equipment effectively while ensuring proper maintenance and storage after each use. Communicate professionally with clients regarding specific cleaning needs or concerns, providing excellent customer service at all times. Qualifications Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or housekeeping management is preferred. Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, sanitation standards, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning, and outdoor work experience is highly desirable. Familiarity with cleaning detergents, janitorial equipment, and proper handling of cleaning supplies is essential. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple client locations. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with physical endurance. Excellent client communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as a self-employed contractor while maintaining high-quality standards.
