Immediately About the Position Anytime Fitness Granite Bay is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Part-Time Gym Housekeeper / Evening Cleaner to help us maintain an exceptionally clean, welcoming and professional fitness environment for our members. Cleanliness is an important part of the member experience at our club. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, notices the details and can consistently maintain a high standard throughout the facility. This is a hands-on cleaning position responsible for the general cleanliness and appearance of the entire gym. Responsibilities The Gym Housekeeper will be responsible for routine and detailed cleaning throughout the facility, including: Clean and disinfect fitness equipment Wipe down machines, benches, racks and other gym surfaces Clean mirrors, interior glass and windows Sweep, vacuum and mop floors Maintain rubber flooring and other fitness areas Clean and disinfect bathrooms Clean sinks, toilets, counters, mirrors and fixtures Empty trash and replace liners Clean high-touch surfaces throughout the facility Dust equipment, ledges, baseboards and other surfaces Maintain cleanliness of entryways and common areas Restock bathroom and cleaning supplies as needed Monitor cleaning-supply inventory and communicate when supplies are running low Identify and report damaged equipment, maintenance concerns or safety issues to management Complete assigned daily, weekly and periodic deep-cleaning tasks Maintain organized cleaning and supply areas Help ensure the entire club is clean, sanitary and ready for members Because Anytime Fitness is an active gym, the Housekeeper must be comfortable cleaning around members while remaining professional, courteous and aware of their surroundings. What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate is: Dependable and punctual Detail-oriented Self-motivated Able to work independently Organized and efficient Comfortable working in an active fitness environment Able to follow established cleaning procedures and checklists Willing to take ownership of the overall cleanliness of the facility Able to recognize areas that need attention without always being directed Friendly and professional when interacting with members and staff Previous commercial cleaning, housekeeping, janitorial or gym-cleaning experience is preferred but not required . We are willing to train the right person who demonstrates reliability, attention to detail and a strong work ethic. Physical Requirements This is an active cleaning position. With or without reasonable accommodation, employees must be able to: Stand and walk for extended periods Bend, kneel, squat and reach while cleaning Push and pull cleaning equipment Carry cleaning supplies and materials Perform repetitive cleaning movements Safely use standard commercial cleaning products and equipment Move throughout all areas of the gym during the scheduled shift Schedule This position is expected to work approximately 15-20 hours per week during evening hours . The exact weekly schedule will be established based on club cleaning needs and employee availability. Dependable and consistent attendance is essential.

Compensation & Employee Perks Pay:

$16.90 per hour, consistent with the current California statewide minimum wage. Compensation will be adjusted as required by applicable state or local minimum-wage laws.
