Non-Exempt Position Summary As a Team Member of the Food and Beverage team, the Banquet Houseman is a CRCR Ambassador and takes personal ownership to ensure all of their actions are in the best interest of the business. The Banquet Houseman is responsible for the overall direction of the Banquet team, including planning, timing, organizing, execution, and evaluation of all banquet functions. Position Functions Essential Functions Provide exceptional Guest service while maintaining a positive attitude. The banquet housemen are responsible for following detailed instructions in relation to event set-up, execution, and tear down, as well as maintenance during any events. Additionally, it is their job to ensure banquet equipment is cleaned regularly, stored appropriately, and handled carefully. Inspect each function room prior to and during breaks to ensure that all requirements reflected on the daily worksheets are met. Ensure meeting rooms and function areas are properly set, and all necessary equipment is in place. Conduct regular equipment inventory and maintain all related equipment. Continuously strive for Exceptional Guest Service - including cooperating with Guests and others for last-minute changes and additions to events. Ensure cleanliness of banquet rooms and surrounding areas. Retrieve clean linens and skirting to stock and maintain inventory levels in storage areas. Assist Guests with the movement of equipment, materials, or boxes. Responsible for periodically refreshing rooms according to written instructions. Communicate to management any equipment deficiency or areas of concern that require immediate attention. Other duties as assigned. Skills Strong listening and communication skills. Master of re-organizing chicken coops.
Qualifications Minimum requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age. 1+ years' experience as a busser in a full-service, fine dining restaurant or upscale catering operations.
