Room Attendants are expected to work efficiently, maintain consistent quality, communicate concerns promptly, and contribute to the overall cleanliness of the hotel. Essential Responsibilities Clean and prepare assigned guest rooms according to hotel standards. Make beds and replace linen as required. Clean and sanitize bathrooms, guest-room surfaces, fixtures, and high-touch areas. Dust furniture and fixtures, vacuum floors, and remove trash. Restock towels, linen, toiletries, and other guest amenities. Complete assigned rooms within established housekeeping productivity standards without sacrificing quality. Immediately report maintenance problems, damaged items, safety concerns, or unusual room conditions. Report and properly turn in all lost-and-found items. Keep housekeeping carts, storage areas, and work areas clean and organized. Properly label, store, and use cleaning chemicals according to safety procedures. Monitor supplies and amenities and help prevent unnecessary waste. Assist with laundry, linen, deep cleaning, public areas, and other housekeeping responsibilities when needed. Notify the supervisor when assigned work has been completed. Communicate guest concerns or complaints to management. Work cooperatively with housekeeping and other hotel departments. Maintain a professional appearance and provide courteous service when interacting with guests. Productivity & Quality Expectations Room Attendants are responsible for meeting the productivity standards established by the hotel. Productivity will be monitored based on assigned rooms, hours worked, room type, stayovers/checkouts, and other assigned housekeeping duties. Meeting productivity expectations does not replace quality expectations . Guest rooms must continue to meet hotel cleanliness and brand standards. Physical Requirements The position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting while completing housekeeping duties. The original description also identifies lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds and pushing/pulling up to 150 pounds.
