Full Job Description Duties:

• Prepare and serve nutritious snacks and lunch by following the planned menu
• Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness and order of the facility (i.e. sweep, dust, mop floors, wash dishes, organize storage areas, etc.)

Laundry:

including folding and putting away

• Observe and follow center's mission statement and philosophy
• Comply with all state and federal requirements
• Comply with all centers policies and procedures
• Participate in all school functions when applicable
• Attend some in-service and staff meetings
• Continue professional growth and development
• Perform other related duties as assigned
• Occasional coverage of preschool classrooms (napping children or if awake under the direct supervision of a fully qualified teacher)

Requirements:

• Have basic understanding of kitchen health and safety
• Ability to understand and follow recipes written in English is a must
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to follow written directions in English Upon acceptance of employment, the applicant must be able to pass the Department of Social Service Live Scan finger printing background check, obtain and pass a health screening and TB skin test by a medical professional, show proof of immunization to Pertussis and Measles, and obtain yearly Influenza vaccine (waiver available), take free yearly Healthy Schools Act one-hour training, free bi-annual Mandated Reporter Training and free bi-annual sexual harassment training certificate.

Applicants are responsible for all fees and time involved in acquiring the certifications and immunizations prior to the first day of employment.

Benefits:

• Holiday pay once the applicant has passed their probation period.
• Sick time available after 90 working days of employment.

Salary:

$17 per hour

Hours:

Part-time (approximately 30 hours per week and a maximum of 31 hours per week)

Friday:
