Responsibilities Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring a seamless flow of service for guests Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment using proper manual handling and safe lifting practices Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, kitchen stations, and dishwashing areas through regular cleaning and sanitation Assist with bussing tables by removing trash, clearing debris, and resetting tables promptly Support food handling procedures by adhering to safety standards and hygiene protocols Handle heavy lifting of supplies, dishes, and equipment with proper technique to prevent injury Collaborate with team members to ensure a welcoming environment and excellent customer service experience Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks across various areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house facilities Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal Assist with furniture arrangement and minor maintenance tasks as needed Restock supplies such as linens, toiletries, and cleaning materials to ensure availability for staff and guests Follow established safety procedures to handle cleaning chemicals and equipment responsibly Support the housekeeping team in managing daily operations efficiently Ensure all assigned areas meet cleanliness standards consistent with hospitality industry expectations Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards in hospitality settings Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and bending Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and interact politely with guests Familiarity with bussing, dishwashing techniques, and basic food handling practices Experience in catering or hotel service can be an advantage but is not necessary Enthusiastic attitude with a focus on teamwork, efficiency, and customer satisfaction Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality environments is preferred Knowledge of floor care techniques and janitorial procedures is desirable Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team Excellent organizational skills and reliability in completing assigned tasks on time Ability to handle cleaning equipment safely and effectively Prior experience in hotel housekeeping management or industrial cleaning is a plus Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and lift moderate loads as required
