POSITION OVERVIEW

A private high-net-worth family in Montecito, California is seeking an experienced, highly detail-oriented Estate Housekeeper to join their household team. The residence is a large private estate requiring a consistently high level of cleanliness, organization, presentation, and discretion. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in large private residences or luxury estates and understand the elevated standards expected in a high-net-worth household. This is a team-oriented position . The successful candidate will work alongside other experienced housekeepers to maintain the residence to an exceptional standard while ensuring that the home is always clean, organized, polished, and guest-ready. The family's identity and exact location will remain confidential throughout the hiring process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform detailed daily and deep-cleaning duties throughout a large private residence. Maintain bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, kitchens, hallways, common areas, and other designated areas of the estate. Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, polish, and clean surfaces using appropriate products and techniques. Maintain a consistently high standard of cleanliness and presentation throughout the home. Pay close attention to details that may easily be overlooked, including corners, baseboards, fixtures, glass, hardware, and decorative surfaces. Properly care for and clean high-end furnishings, finishes, fabrics, flooring, stone, wood, metals, and other specialty materials. Make and change beds to a high-end residential standard. Clean and organize closets, cabinets, drawers, and other areas as assigned. Assist with laundry, linens, towels, and other household-related housekeeping duties as needed. Assist with preparing the residence for family arrivals, guests, gatherings, and special events. Work efficiently and cooperatively with the existing housekeeping team to ensure all areas of the estate are properly maintained. Communicate respectfully and professionally with other household staff and management. Identify areas requiring additional attention and communicate maintenance, repair, or cleaning concerns promptly. Follow household procedures regarding cleaning products, equipment, organization, and care of the residence. Maintain a calm, professional, and discreet demeanor at all times. Perform additional housekeeping duties as reasonably requested by the household or management.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

The following are required: Previous professional housekeeping experience in a large private residence, luxury home, or private estate . Experience working in a high-net-worth household or similarly high-standard private environment . Fluent English-speaking ability with the ability to communicate clearly with household staff and management. Weekend availability is required. Exceptional attention to detail. Ability to recognize and maintain high standards without constant supervision. Ability to work efficiently as part of a professional housekeeping team. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Reliable, punctual, responsible, and dependable. Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to handle high-end furnishings, finishes, surfaces, and household items with appropriate care. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding the family, residence, guests, schedule, and household activities. Willingness to sign and comply with a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and household confidentiality requirements. Must be comfortable working around dogs.

A Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) will be required as a condition of employment.
