Responsibilities Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation of all rooms and surfaces. Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures following health and safety standards to ensure a hygienic environment. Operate various cleaning equipment and tools safely, including vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and janitorial supplies. Maintain organized storage of cleaning detergents, supplies, and equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific needs, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction with the service provided. Manage time efficiently to complete all assigned tasks within scheduled periods while maintaining high-quality standards. Assist with outdoor work when necessary, including patio or garden area cleaning or maintenance tasks. Support housekeeping management by reporting maintenance issues or supply shortages promptly. Experience Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning roles with a strong understanding of janitorial procedures. Familiarity with cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation practices. Hands-on experience with various cleaning equipment and tools used in residential housekeeping or custodial work. Knowledge of cleaning detergents and safe handling practices for chemicals used in sanitation processes. Prior customer service experience demonstrating effective communication skills with clients or residents. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Outdoor work experience is a plus for tasks involving exterior spaces or garden areas. Previous supervisory or housekeeping management experience is advantageous for those interested in leadership roles within the team.
