Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces using established procedures and safety standards. Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet care to ensure a pristine environment. Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, towels, and amenities to meet guest needs efficiently. Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels with care. Conduct routine inspections of rooms and common areas to identify maintenance issues or safety hazards and report them promptly. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, ensuring proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Assist with special cleaning projects such as deep cleans or industrial cleaning tasks as required. Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas meet quality standards and guest satisfaction expectations. Support hotel management with housekeeping management duties when needed, including inventory control and scheduling assistance. Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping roles preferred; hotel experience is highly valued. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and custodial practices across various environments including industrial settings. Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and customer service principles. Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards. Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts. Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment. Prior experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus but not required.
