Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Housekeeper, where your attention to detail and dedication will create a welcoming and spotless environment for our guests. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Your efforts directly contribute to guest satisfaction and the overall reputation of our hotel. Duties Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to ensure a pristine environment. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, polishing surfaces, and emptying trash receptacles. Perform floor care duties including stripping, waxing, buffing, and deep cleaning carpets to uphold high standards of hygiene and appearance. Restock amenities like toiletries, towels, linens, and other supplies to meet guest needs efficiently. Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and maintain safety standards. Follow all safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use to protect yourself and colleagues. Assist with laundry duties when necessary, including washing linens and towels using industrial cleaning equipment. Must be willing to work weekends and some holidays. 8-24 hours per week with potential to move to full-time status. Experience Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial roles is highly preferred; familiarity with hospitality standards is a plus. Hands-on experience with floor care techniques such as waxing, buffing, or carpet cleaning enhances your suitability for this role. Knowledge of cleaning products, safety procedures, and equipment operation is essential for maintaining a safe work environment. Experience in industrial or custodial cleaning environments demonstrates your ability to handle diverse cleaning challenges efficiently. Previous housekeeping management experience is advantageous for those interested in supervisory responsibilities within the hospitality sector.
