A Hotel & Resort Security Officer provides security for property at hotels or resorts. Monitors entrances and patrols buildings, watches for intruders or vandals; reports building maintenance problems; deals with customers or visitors that create a disturbance in the building.
USA, Inc. operates a fulfillment and warehousing site in Ontario, California, supporting 3PL/5PL logistics for consumer brands, including cosmetics and e-commerce inventory. Our facility includes warehouse floor space, racking, inbound and outbound docks, offices, and visitor areas — and we're looking for a dependable, professional Security Guard to help keep our people, product, and property safe. Job Summary As our On-Site Security Guard, you'll control access, monitor cameras and alarms, patrol the facility, screen visitors and vendors, and document incidents — escalating any safety or security concerns to site leadership.

What You'll Do Control access at gates, lobby, dock, and employee entrances; verify badges and visitor/vendor credentials Issue visitor and contractor badges and maintain visitor logs Conduct scheduled patrols of the warehouse floor, docks, yard, parking lot, and perimeter Monitor CCTV, access-control, and alarm systems, and report any equipment failures Watch dock activity for unauthorized persons or unattended trailers and report irregularities Respond to alarms, medical incidents, fires, and other emergencies, following the site's emergency action plan De-escalate conflicts using verbal skills; use force only as a last resort per California law and BSIS training Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift-relief notes Enforce posted site rules and maintain a professional, courteous post What We're Looking For At least 18 years of age Valid, current California BSIS Security Guard Registration (Guard Card) in good standing Power to Arrest and Appropriate Use of Force training completed (or willingness to complete required BSIS training on schedule) Able to pass a background check consistent with California law (FEHA, Labor Code § 432.7, Fair Chance Act) Eligible to work in the U.S. and able to complete Form I-9 Reliable transportation to the Ontario site, including night, weekend, and holiday shifts Strong written and verbal English communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus High school diploma or equivalent preferred Prior security, military, loss-prevention, or warehouse-access experience preferred; 3PL or fulfillment experience a plus Schedule & Compensation On-site only — remote work is not available Shifts include days, swings, nights, weekends, and holidays Overtime paid per California law (over 8 hours/day or 40 hours/week) Meal and rest periods provided per California Wage Order 4/9 Pay rate set at hire based on experience and shift; California paid sick leave and other required benefits apply Benefits 401(k) with company match Health Insurance Paid time off
