Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Room Attendant to ensure that all assigned guestrooms are fully stocked, cleaned, and serviced to an exceptional standard. This role is essential in ensuring guests experience a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Responsibilities include cleaning and services assigned rooms, areas, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, removing trash, sanitizing and wiping down room surfaces Key Responsibilities Cleans and services assigned rooms Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces, furniture, and fixtures Remove trash and recycling throughout the property Restock supplies, linens, and amenities in assigned areas and storage rooms Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked housekeeping cart Report maintenance issues promptly to management Follow all housekeeping procedures and safety standards Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely in accordance with regulations Provide friendly and attentive service to guests, addressing concerns as needed Ensure hotel security protocols are followed, including guestroom access and reporting suspicious activity Follow proper lost and found procedures Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned Qualifications Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and time management skills Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures Good judgment and problem-solving skills Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays Ability to read and understand cleaning chemical labels and safety guidelines High school diploma or equivalent preferred Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks Light to moderate lifting (assistance available when needed)
