Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Housekeeper/Laundry Worker and be a vital part of creating a welcoming, clean, and comfortable environment for our guests. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout our facilities, ensuring guest satisfaction and safety. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will help uphold our reputation for exceptional service and hospitality excellence. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment Handle all laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing with care and efficiency Use cleaning agents safely by adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) and proper chemical handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for yourself and colleagues Maintain floor care through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to keep all surfaces spotless and inviting Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and steam cleaners with skill and safety awareness Follow hotel housekeeping management protocols including sanitation standards, emergency procedures, and custodial best practices Assist with heavy lifting tasks when necessary while following manual handling safety guidelines to prevent injury Qualifications Prior janitorial or custodial experience in hospitality or industrial cleaning environments is highly desirable Knowledge of hotel housekeeping management practices and sanitation standards Familiarity with chemical agent handling, safety data sheets (SDS), and proper use of cleaning equipment Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude towards guest interactions Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting Experience with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols is a plus Demonstrated ability to handle manual tasks diligently while maintaining high cleanliness standards Join us in delivering outstanding hospitality through meticulous cleanliness and exceptional service!
