Pay:

$17.00 per hour Job description: Housekeeper/Janitor Join the team behind some of Riverside's most memorable events! The Riverside Convention Center is looking for friendly, dependable facilities team members who enjoy working with people and creating a great guest experience. Essential Job Functions Remove all trash, empty all trash cans, debris, and replace receptacle liners as needed. Clean, sanitize restrooms and restock supplies. Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping and vacuuming front of the house and back of the house areas. Maintain janitorial closets and equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition. Additional duties as requested by facilities management. Clean other assigned areas and complete tasks.

Qualifications:

Experience in the janitorial industry required. Those with hotel or restaurant work history are a great match to our work environment. Floor/carpet care experience preferred. A background screening and drug test will be required. Weekends and Holiday availability is essential and required. The Holidays can vary depending on what events we get booked around the holidays.

Physical Demands:

Frequent standing, walking, climbing stairs, bending and squatting is required. Lifting and moving objects 50 lbs or more Standing for up to four hours at a time The duties and responsibilities listed above are not all inclusive and serve only as a guideline for this position.
