Job Description

SUMMARY:
Conducts Kiosk and Gaming Machine drops according to an established schedule. Processes the drop box contents in accordance with internal controls. Accurately prepares paperwork for submission to accounting. Familiar with all Count Room duties and communicates with Count Room Manager, Supervisor, and/or Lead on a daily basis.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
: (Includes but not limited to the following) Responsible for accurately pulling, counting, and recording all drop box contents, which may contain currency and/or Gaming Machine tickets. Prepares funds and paperwork for transfer to the Main Vault. Opens and closes Gaming Machine main and inside doors with keys. Pushes, pulls, and safely drives drop carts. Moves Gaming Machine chairs from aisleways to provide access. Services the Kiosk machines, removing and/or replenishing currency. Must be a team player able to work well with others, neat in appearance with good hygiene.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must also be able to function effectively in a fast-paced environment and have a flexible schedule. Must possess strong communication and listening skills, along with excellent interpersonal ability.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
: This position has no supervisory responsibility. EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
Must possess basic computer skills. Cash handling skills a plus. High school diploma preferred. Knowledge of Giesecke & Devrient (G&D) machines a plus but not required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other Team Members of the organization. Must be proficient in English.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Must possess basic math skills. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to use a calculator by 10-key touch a plus.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Ability to obtain and maintain a Lytton Tribal Gaming Commission gaming license at all times of employment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to lift, push, pull, sit, squat, stand and/or walk as well as working with hundreds of machines and/or drop boxes that will need to be opened, so upper body strength is required. Must be able to lift between 25 - 50 pounds frequently. Ability to physically move Gaming machine chairs for access to each Gaming machine.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a Team Member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment ranges from moderate to loud, depending on equipment needed to perform functions. Should be able to adapt well to the casino environment, involving large numbers of people, loud and continuous high noise level. Must also be able to psychologically handle the concepts of persons occupying an establishment for the purposes of gambling, drinking, eating, and smoking for long periods of time.
