A Maid or Housekeeping Staff provides cleaning and housekeeping services, primarily for rooms and bathrooms in hotels and hospitals. May also work in private residences, office buildings, colleges, other institutions.
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Housekeeper to join a dedicated team at a high-end private residence in Santa Ynez. Reporting to the House Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the home to 'white glove' standards. The ideal candidate is an adaptable, team-oriented professional with exceptional attention to detail. You must be flexible with your schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. This is for a temporary position with planned dates starting August 10 through August 29 (Subject to Change), with the potential opportunity to continue working one to two weeks per month, based on performance during the temporary period and the needs of Principals. Strong preference for those within the Santa Ynez, Lompoc, Buellton, or Santa Barbara areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Overall Upkeep:
Maintain a large private estate with "white glove" standards, cleaning all areas of the home, including floors, rugs, windows, kitchen, bed linens, and furniture.
Laundry Care:
Wash, dry, fold, iron, steam, and properly store linens, clothing, and other household fabrics.
Organization:
Ensure closets and cupboards are kept neat and organized.
Guest Preparation:
Ensure all guest rooms and public areas are always immaculate and guest ready. Provide turndown service when rooms are occupied.
Event Assistance:
Provide cleaning support for events hosted at the residence, as needed.
Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with the current team following established protocols, systems, and task schedules.
Required Qualifications:
Experience:
Proven hands-on cleaning skills with exceptional attention to detail. Previous experience working for an ultra-high-net-worth family or luxury hotel is essential.
Interpersonal Skills:
A respectful and careful natured professional who works carefully with valuable belongings of the homeowner. Strong sense of urgency, willingness, openness and ability to learn quickly and prioritize tasks, paying close attention to details. Able to work effectively and efficiently under pressure. A neat, professional, and conservative appearance with good hygiene is also required.
Communication:
Excellent communication skills and fluency in
English Flexibility:
Able to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on the homeowners' needs.
Screening:
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a post-offer background check, conducted in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and professional references. This role requires driving as an essential job function; must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record under company policy, subject to applicable law. This role will require you to be authorized to work in the United States.

The pay rate is $40.00 to $45.00 per hour. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience. Overtime may be available.
