We are pleased to announce a wonderful opportunity for a Banquet Houseperson . What will you be doing most days? Working safely by wearing provided brand-standard uniform, identification, recommended footwear, and protective equipment such as gloves Collecting and removing trash as needed during banquet events. Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the banquet function space, pre-function space and storage areas to include the carpets, walls, walks, windows, and heating/air conditioning units, etc. Maintain the banquet storeroom in a neat and organized manner stocked with any and all appropriate supplies necessary for meetings or food service functions. Help breakdown after the completion of functions and ensure that all equipment and supplies are stored properly. Assisting facility maintenance personnel as needed Maintain a professional appearance including a pressed uniform, employee identification, safety footwear, and protective equipment What are the requirements for this position? You have the ability to clean and perform housekeeping duties in a lodging facility You are neat, organized, and efficient You have the ability to work well with others in a guest and team-focused environment You have the perseverance to complete work efficiently with attention to quality and detail You can deliver a clean, organized, and refreshed hotel banquet area You will perform other duties as assigned by supervision Physical Requirements for this Position This can be a physically demanding position. You must be comfortable standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods of time.
