Hotel Housekeeper

Duties Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, furniture, and fixtures to ensure a spotless environment. Perform floor care duties such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and maintaining overall cleanliness of hallways, lobbies, and public spaces. Restock amenities such as toiletries, towels, and linens to meet guest needs and hotel standards. Handle trash removal and waste disposal efficiently across all designated areas. Conduct routine inspections of assigned areas to identify maintenance issues or safety hazards and report them promptly. Follow established cleaning procedures using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment to ensure safety and effectiveness. Maintain a friendly, professional demeanor when interacting with guests or team members, fostering a welcoming atmosphere. Skills Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services within hotels or hospitality environments. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques for various surfaces including carpets, tiles, and hardwood floors. Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies for efficient maintenance tasks. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough cleaning under time constraints. Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols diligently. Experience in housekeeping management or supervising cleaning staff is a plus but not required. Demonstrated commitment to hospitality standards with a positive attitude towards guest service.
