Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a vital support for educational, behavioral, and psychological needs. If you're a dedicated School Psychologist or a School Psychologist Intern seeking a long-term opportunity, this contract position offers the chance to transition into a permanent role and deepen your expertise in a collaborative, supportive environment near Manitou Springs, CO.
Qualifications and Experience Sought:
Valid or eligibility for a School Psychologist license/certification (state-specific requirements apply) Master's or Ed.

S. degree in School Psychology or related field Internship experience for intern candidates; prior school-based experience preferred for certified applicants Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations, teachers, and families Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Commitment to ethical practice and ongoing professional development
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret results for students referred for assessment Collaborate with educators, families, and multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students Support implementation of positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS) Offer consultation and training for teachers regarding academic, emotional, and behavioral interventions Participate actively in problem-solving and response-to-intervention (RTI) meetings Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive school environment Discover the stability and growth that comes with a permanent placement as you expand your school psychology practice with a district invested in your long-term contributions.
