Description:
The Springs Resort & Spa is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Guest Room Attendant to join our Housekeeping team in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. This role is essential in delivering a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests by maintaining established cleanliness and presentation standards in guest rooms and assigned areas. This position requires attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced resort environment. Your Future Career Guest Room Cleaning & Presentation Clean and service assigned guest rooms in accordance with established productivity and quality standards. Make beds, replace linens, and ensure proper placement of guest amenities. Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, mirrors, and floors. Dust, vacuum, mop, and disinfect all room surfaces and furnishings. Inspect rooms for maintenance issues and report concerns promptly. Guest Experience & Service Ensure guest rooms are properly stocked with required supplies and amenities. Respond to guest requests in a timely and professional manner. Maintain confidentiality and respect for guest privacy at all times. Uphold resort service standards during all guest and team interactions. Safety, Compliance & Organization Follow proper chemical handling and safety procedures. Adhere to sanitation standards and housekeeping protocols. Maintain organized housekeeping carts and storage areas. Comply with key control and lost-and-found procedures. Team Collaboration Communicate effectively with supervisors and fellow team members. Support team members during peak occupancy periods as needed. Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hotel, resort, or similar environment preferred. Ability to work independently and efficiently within productivity standards. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Physical & Work Environment Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach for extended periods. Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry items weighing up to approximately 50 pounds (e.g., linens, carts). Ability to operate housekeeping equipment safely. Ability to work in environments exposed to cleaning chemicals and variable temperatures. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
