Duties Perform thorough floor cleaning and floor care using appropriate cleaning equipment and techniques to ensure spotless, safe surfaces throughout the hotel. Handle cleaning tasks across guest rooms, hallways, public areas, and back-of-house spaces with precision and efficiency. Use chemical agents safely by adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines, ensuring proper handling, storage, and disposal of cleaning chemicals. Assist with manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, furniture, or equipment while following proper safety procedures. Support hotel housekeeping management by replenishing supplies, restocking linen carts, and reporting maintenance issues promptly. Maintain sanitation standards through regular vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and detailed cleaning routines. Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently to ensure guest safety at all times while maintaining a secure environment. Skills Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles with strong janitorial or custodial experience. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members. Knowledge of cleaning equipment operation and floor care techniques to deliver high-quality results. Ability to handle chemical agents responsibly by understanding chemical handling protocols and SDS information. Physical stamina for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, prolonged standing, walking, and bending during cleaning routines. Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure guest safety and compliance.
