Full-Time Cleaning Associate Jewelry Designs - Danbury, CT Full-Time | On-Site Jewelry Designs is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Full-Time Cleaning Associate to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of our jewelry showroom, offices, workshop areas, and common spaces. Jewelry Designs has been serving the Danbury area since 1980. Our location includes a professional jewelry showroom and an in-house workshop with jewelers, stone setters, designers, and craftsmen working on-site. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping a workplace consistently clean, organized, and presentable. Responsibilities Clean and maintain showroom floors and customer areas Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors throughout the building Dust and wipe down furniture, fixtures, counters, doors, and surfaces Clean glass doors, windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces Clean and sanitize restrooms Clean employee break areas Empty trash and recycling throughout the building Clean offices, hallways, stairways, and common areas Clean designated areas of the jewelry workshop and production departments Keep entrances clean and presentable Restock restroom and cleaning supplies Complete scheduled deep-cleaning projects Follow daily and weekly cleaning checklists Follow established cleaning and security procedures Maintain cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need to be reordered Assist with additional cleaning duties as needed Qualifications Previous commercial cleaning, janitorial, or housekeeping experience preferred Dependable and punctual Strong attention to detail Able to work independently Able to follow established cleaning schedules and checklists Comfortable working around employees and customers Able to safely use standard commercial cleaning products and equipment Able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical cleaning duties throughout the workday Able to lift and carry cleaning supplies and equipment as needed What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who takes ownership of the cleanliness of the workplace and notices areas that need attention without always needing to be directed.
