POSITION IS FOR 3RD SHIFT POSITION--OVERNIGHT. PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE WILLING TO WORK SHIFTS FROM 11

00 PM TO 7:00 AM, and 7:00PM TO 7:00AM.

•This position will average 28 hours a week. Job Summary The primary purpose of this job position is to provide services in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, with the established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Director, to assure that quality services are provided at all times. The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related, or is a logical assignment of the position Major Responsibilities If you are the only staff member on duty or have been appointed as the staff member in charge, assume administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability for directing the facility's activities and programs. Consult with the Director via telephone regarding issues, concerns, and challenges when the Director and/or Lead Facility Attendant is absent from the facility. Ensure the resident's safety at all times. Follow daily work assignments to include: Light housekeeping, dietary preparation, stocking, cooking, meal service, administrative duties, recreational programming, light maintenance (i.e. change light bulbs, batteries in detectors, etc.). Ensure that all employees, residents, visitors, and the general public follow established policies and procedures. Provide appointment reminders to residents. Maintain an adequate liaison with families and residents. Maintain a good public relations program that serves the best interests of the facility and community. Attend and participate in workshops, seminars, and continuing educational programs designed to keep abreast of current changes in the residential care field. Ensure participation in annual continuing education/training programs to meet requirements. Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the facility. Housekeeping Services Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned. Perform specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments. Clean, wash, sanitize, and/or polish bathroom fixtures, depending on shift assignment, duties may vary. Clean floors, to include sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, disinfecting, etc. (

NOTE:

Ensure that appropriate caution/safety signs are properly set up prior to performing such duties). Clean spots on carpets to include deodorizing and disinfecting. Remove dirt, dust, grease, film, etc., from surfaces using proper cleaning/disinfecting solutions. Clean hallways and stairways Skills Current CPR/First Aid certification Experience with the elderly population Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients and team members.
