Job Description
The Housekeeping/Laundry Aide provides quality housekeeping services, and a clean, orderly and safe environment for all facility residents and staff. As defined in job routines or department instructions, the Housekeeping Aide cleans assigned areas of the facility, included but not limited to: resident rooms and bathrooms, on a scheduled basis to meet high standards of cleanliness, infection control, safety and hazardous communication program. The Housekeeping Aide plans efficient use of time, cooperates with all other staff and performs responsibilities with minimum disruption to the residents and staff. Maintains a clean, orderly work area and department. The Housekeeping Aide assists in maintaining adequate supplies needed in the department. Mix of Housekeeping and Laundry duties
