Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our dynamic environmental services team. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold cleanliness standards. Handle and apply floor cleaning chemicals safely for tasks such as floor scrubbing, waxing, buffing, and refinishing to restore floors to their optimal condition. Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, polishers, carpet extractors, and other janitorial tools efficiently and safely. Conduct specialized floor care procedures including floor buffing, waxing, refinishing, and carpet cleaning to maintain various flooring types. Manage chemical agent handling with proper safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. Assist with heavy lifting tasks involving cleaning supplies or equipment to support efficient workflow. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to client requests and ensuring their satisfaction with the cleaning services provided. Qualifications Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services with knowledge of janitorial practices. Familiarity with floor scrubbing, floor waxing, buffing, refinishing, and carpet cleaning techniques. Ability to handle cleaning chemicals responsibly using appropriate safety measures. Experience operating various cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, polishers, and carpet extractors. Physical capability for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality cleaning standards.
