Aventura, FL Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Outdoor work experience Driver's License Golf cart assistance Full Job Description Scope of Position The Golf Cart & Bag Room Attendant will provide the members and their guests with the highest quality customer service. Provide golf bag retrieval, cleaning clubs, bag storage, golf car service, and range service. Position Requirements Minimum 1 + year golf industry, hospitality, or customer service experience (preferred). Professional demeanor appropriate for a luxury environment. Friendly personality and enjoy working with the guests and members. Able to work in a fast-paced environment. Hospitality and customer service oriented, dependable, and responsible. Must possess a valid driver's license as this position requires driving a company golf cart throughout the property. Responsibilities Greets and assists members and guests with the storage of their golf clubs. Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bag storage room. Manage bag drop for members and guests. Responsible for loading bags from bag storage room or bag racks onto carts for daily and tournament play. Provide directions to golfers to golf-related areas. Assist golfers with carts and equipment. Remove rental clubs for use by guests, and clean and store after use. Store, clean, tag, and organize guest clubs in bag room storage. Clean, detail, restock golf carts after each use. Document any golf cart damage and deficiency for mechanic's review. Maintain cleanliness of golf-related areas. Maintain lines of communication with golf shop to ensure efficiency of course operations and guest satisfaction. Setup/reset/break down practice stations. Pick up/wash balls from practice facility. Ensure the security of all golf equipment in storage. Communicate with the golf operations on a regular basis and report important issues as necessary. Provides additional support to other areas of the course as needed. Education High school diploma or GED. Skills and Abilities Able to communicate in the English language. Second language is a plus. Able to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends. Able to perform multiple tasks. Knowledge of the use of equipment/machinery. Physical Requirements Able to work in a fast-paced environment. Able to be outdoors for long periods of time. Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions including heat, sun, wind, and rain. Be physically fit to lift, pull, and push items up to 50 pounds. Also requires standing/walking/reaching and bending throughout shift.
