Lead Resort Housekeeper Berkshire Beach Club | Deerfield Beach, FL Full-Time | Approx. 35.5 Hours/Week | $18.00/Hour About Us Berkshire Beach Club is a welcoming oceanfront timeshare resort in Deerfield Beach consisting of 13 fully furnished apartments and serving approximately 649 owners throughout the year. Our resort operates primarily on a weekly occupancy schedule, with Saturday as our main check-out and check-in day. We pride ourselves on maintaining professional hospitality standards while providing the friendly, personalized service of a smaller resort.

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced, dependable and motivated Lead Resort Housekeeper to join our team. This is a hands-on housekeeping position with additional leadership responsibilities. The ideal candidate takes pride in providing exceptional cleanliness and presentation, works well independently, communicates professionally with owners and guests, and can assist management in coordinating our third-party housekeeping team during Saturday turnovers.

Key Responsibilities:

Professionally clean and prepare 1-bedroom/1-bathroom resort apartments to hotel/resort standards. Perform professional bed-making, linen placement and room presentation. Clean and sanitize kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas. Inspect apartments for cleanliness and guest readiness. Perform weekly stay-over housekeeping services. Assist with Owner & Guest Towel Exchange every Monday and Wednesday from 8:00 AM-12:00 PM. Assist in coordinating and supervising third-party housekeepers during Saturday turnovers. Help ensure housekeeping standards and deadlines are met before check-in. Maintain organized housekeeping closets, linens, supplies and equipment. Monitor housekeeping inventory and report supply needs to the on-duty supervisor. Promptly report maintenance concerns, damages or missing items. Communicate professionally, courteously and effectively with owners and guests. Work independently while contributing to a positive, respectful and team-oriented environment.

Qualifications:

Minimum 1-2 years of professional housekeeping experience required. Hotel, resort, timeshare, vacation rental or similar hospitality housekeeping experience strongly preferred. Fluent English communication skills required. Bilingual is a plus. Professional cleaning and hotel-style bed-making experience. Excellent attention to detail, organization and time-management skills. Strong communication and customer-service skills. Dependable, punctual and able to work independently. Ability to provide friendly and professional direction to other housekeeping personnel. Must be comfortable performing the physical duties associated with professional housekeeping. Reliable Saturday availability is required.

Compensation & Growth Starting Pay:

$18.00 per hour The starting rate will remain in effect through the end of the current calendar year. The employee will participate in our annual performance review process, at which time compensation, scheduled hours, responsibilities and opportunities for growth will be evaluated based on performance and resort needs. Strong performance may provide opportunities for increased compensation, additional hours and increased responsibility within the housekeeping department.
