• Responsibilities
• + Clean and maintain all areas of the plant floor, including sweeping, mopping, and general cleanup around machinery and equipment.

+ Perform routine cleaning of offices, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, and maintaining common areas. + Clean and sanitize locker rooms, bathrooms, and restrooms, ensuring they remain stocked, hygienic, and presentable at all times. + Collect, remove, and properly dispose of trash and recycling from plant and office areas on a regular schedule. + Perform general labor tasks related to janitorial duties, such as moving cleaning equipment, handling cleaning supplies, and organizing storage areas. + Clean in and around industrial and manufacturing equipment, following safety guidelines and using appropriate personal protective equipment. + Maintain floors by sweeping, mopping, and spot cleaning to ensure safe and clean walking surfaces throughout the facility. + Work independently to complete daily, weekly, and periodic cleaning tasks according to established schedules and priorities. + Follow all safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE such as steel-toed boots and other protective gear, while performing cleaning tasks. + Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply needs to the appropriate contact so they can be addressed promptly.

• Essential Skills
• + At least 2 years of janitorial, cleaning, or custodial work experience.

+ At least 2 years of cleaning experience in a manufacturing or plant environment. + Experience cleaning in environments with machinery and industrial equipment. + Proficiency in sweeping, mopping floors, and general cleaning tasks. + Ability to perform janitorial duties such as trash removal, restroom cleaning, and general labor tasks. + Ability to work alone and manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks. + Comfort with wearing and using personal protective equipment, including steel-toed boots.

• + Experience performing janitorial duties in both industrial and office settings. + Familiarity with cleaning procedures for non-climate-controlled environments. + Ability to maintain cleanliness standards while working around active plant operations. + Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe and orderly environment.

• Work Environment
• This position is based in a manufacturing plant and office setting, where you will perform janitorial duties across both environments.

You will work in a non-climate-controlled plant area as well as air-conditioned office spaces. The standard schedule is 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. You must wear steel-toed boots and other required personal protective equipment while working, especially in plant and industrial areas. The role involves working around machinery and equipment, handling cleaning supplies, and performing physical tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and trash removal throughout the shift.

• This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL.
• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $17.

00 - $17.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
