Job Description

Environmental Service Aid•#8232 START
IMMEDIATELY
•Cleaner with Janitorial Experience.
Schedule and Location:
West Kendall•Monday through Friday 6pm-12:30am (32.5 Hours/Weekly). As Environmental Services Associate you will be responsible for providing the highest quality of housekeeping services to the hospital. You will strive to maintain a safe and sanitary environment for the patients, visitors and staff by utilizing available resources and basic housekeeping skills. We are looking for someone who is dedicated, detailed oriented and passionate about delivering exceptional quality.
What You'll Do :
Under the direction of the EVS Management is responsible for completing general cleaning duties including linen delivery and removal, trash removal, furniture moving and deep cleaning. Ensures that all tasks are completed safely, and in strict adherence to Infection Control. Ensures all trash is removed and properly placed in the appropriate containers throughout shift and prior to end of shift. Contributes to a safe, clean, and uncontaminated environment by ensuring work areas are kept clean, sanitized, and orderly. Knowledge and understanding of all products/chemicals to be used on a daily basis for areas assigned. Responsible for reporting inventory levels when running low and any issues with equipment to EVS Management team. Provides the highest level of customer service at all times.
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 1 year of Environmental Services Flexible availability Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities. Detail-oriented and meticulous. Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset. Must always maintain a strong awareness of safety and proactive leadership approach. Must be able to pass a Background Check. Must be able to pass Drug Test. Bilingual English & Spanish preferred.
