Duties Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial spaces, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and surface sanitation. Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to ensure hygiene standards are met. Handle laundry tasks such as washing, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items with care. Maintain floor care by performing deep cleaning, carpet cleaning, and applying appropriate floor finishing techniques. Manage janitorial supplies inventory, ensuring all cleaning equipment is maintained in excellent condition for optimal performance. Follow manual handling safety protocols when lifting heavy objects or moving furniture to prevent injuries. Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide exceptional customer service. Assist with outdoor work when required, including trash removal or outdoor surface cleaning as part of comprehensive housekeeping services. Support housekeeping management by adhering to schedules, managing time efficiently, and ensuring all tasks are completed promptly. Experience Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments, including janitorial or custodial roles. Familiarity with cleaning surfaces such as floors, carpets, windows, and appliances using various cleaning detergents and equipment. Hands-on experience with floor care techniques including stripping, sealing, waxing, and polishing floors. Knowledge of sanitation standards and procedures for maintaining hygiene in diverse settings. Experience in laundry services and handling cleaning supplies responsibly. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively across multiple client locations. Outdoor work experience is a plus for handling exterior surface maintenance or trash collection tasks. Excellent client communication skills to ensure customer satisfaction and address specific requests confidently.
