Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and surface sanitation to ensure a hygienic environment. Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures according to established standards to maintain health and safety compliance. Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently. Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents safely while maintaining proper manual handling techniques for heavy lifting or outdoor work. Maintain floor care by performing carpet cleaning, floor polishing, and routine maintenance to preserve the appearance and longevity of flooring surfaces. Communicate effectively with clients regarding their cleaning preferences and special requests to ensure satisfaction. Manage time efficiently to complete daily tasks within scheduled timeframes while prioritizing urgent or high-traffic areas. Experience Previous custodial or janitorial experience in residential or commercial settings is preferred. Familiarity with cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning, and the use of various cleaning equipment is highly desirable. Experience with laundry operations and the use of cleaning detergents is advantageous. Knowledge of sanitation standards and procedures for maintaining cleanliness in diverse environments is essential. Demonstrated ability to handle manual tasks involving heavy lifting or outdoor work with safety awareness is important. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about their needs and expectations are valued.
