Job Description
Room Attendant / Housekeeper If you take pride in creating clean, comfortable spaces and enjoy making a positive impact on every guest's stay, we'd love to have you join our team! As a Room Attendant, you'll play an important role in delivering the exceptional hospitality our guests expect while working in a supportive, team-oriented environment. Weekend and holiday availability is required. Position Summary The Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and public areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. This role helps create an outstanding guest experience by providing friendly service, maintaining a safe work environment, and ensuring every room is ready to welcome our guests. Responsibilities Clean guest rooms according to hotel brand standards and company procedures. Complete assigned rooms efficiently while maintaining exceptional quality. Provide turndown service when requested. Clean public areas and back-of-house spaces as assigned. Maintain a clean, organized housekeeping cart and stock it with all necessary supplies at the beginning of each shift. Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and damaged items promptly. Respond to guest requests with professionalism, friendliness, and a sense of urgency. Properly log and manage Lost & Found items. Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and accident prevention procedures. Participate in emergency training and follow hotel emergency procedures. Assist teammates with tasks such as trash removal, exterior cleanup, and other housekeeping or hotel projects as needed. Work together with all departments to provide an exceptional guest experience. What We're Looking For A positive attitude and a passion for hospitality. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player. Good communication and customer service skills. Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience is preferred but not required—we're happy to train the right candidate! Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts based on business needs. Physical Requirements This is an active position that requires frequent movement throughout the hotel. Lift up to 25 pounds of linens, supplies, and light furniture. Push housekeeping carts and equipment weighing up to 35 pounds . Carry supplies weighing up to 15 pounds . Frequently bend, reach, kneel, twist, and stoop while cleaning guest rooms. Stand and walk for the duration of your shift. Climb stairs when necessary. Why Join Our Team?
