A 47-unit resort/condo property in Treasure Island, Florida is seeking an ideal candidate who will be enthusiastic, dependable, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position, and transportation is a must. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and resort facilities using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents Handle chemical substances safely by following safety data sheets (SDS) and proper chemical handling procedures Conduct floor cleaning tasks including vacuuming, mopping, and floor care to maintain a spotless appearance Manage manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or cleaning supplies with proper technique to prevent injury Maintain sanitation standards through regular cleaning routines aligned with hotel housekeeping management protocols Utilize janitorial and industrial cleaning equipment efficiently to ensure high-quality results Adhere to hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols at all times to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff Qualifications Proven hotel housekeeping experience or custodial experience in hospitality or industrial cleaning environments Knowledge of floor cleaning, sanitation practices, and the use of cleaning equipment and chemical agents Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and perform manual handling tasks with proper technique Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude towards guests and team members Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures, safety data sheets (SDS), and chemical handling regulations Experience in hotel housekeeping management or janitorial operations is preferred but not required Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Must be able to speak fluent English. Must have the mobility to climb stairs. Must be able to do deep cleaning of units. Notify Management on any damages, deficits, and disturbances.
