Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our dynamic team. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and carpet cleaning to ensure a spotless environment. Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures in accordance with health standards to promote hygiene and safety. Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners efficiently and safely. Manage laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items for clients. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or supplies with proper technique to prevent injury. Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas associated with residential properties through outdoor work experience. Communicate effectively with clients regarding their cleaning preferences and special requests to ensure high satisfaction levels. Use cleaning detergents responsibly, following safety guidelines for handling chemicals and equipment. Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within scheduled periods while maintaining quality standards. Support housekeeping management by reporting maintenance issues or supply needs promptly. Experience Previous custodial or janitorial experience in residential or commercial settings is highly preferred. Demonstrated expertise in cleaning surfaces, floors, carpets, and upholstery using appropriate methods and equipment. Familiarity with sanitation protocols and cleaning procedures to uphold health standards. Experience in laundry services including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and stain removal. Knowledge of cleaning detergents and safe handling practices for chemicals used in cleaning processes. Outdoor work experience is advantageous for maintaining exterior areas of properties. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about their needs. Ability to perform manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy objects safely while maintaining good physical condition. Proven time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple properties or client requests.
